Rest & Restore Protocol
Rest & Restore is a product of Unyte & the research of Dr. Stephen Porges, the author of Polyvagal Theory. The RRP is an auditory listening intervention that works with the Autonomic Nervous System & consists of 5 hours of music that is altered to progressively invite the nervous system into a relaxed state.
Rest & Restore Protocol (RRP) was created to help with stress, anxiety, fatigue, sleep issues & GI challenges. I primarily offer RRP to help clients who struggle with feeling rested & other sleep issues. The RRP can help invite your nervous system into “rest/digest,” your ventral-dorsal nervous system.
RRP impacts people in all different ways, so it's difficult to name all the things you may experience or list all possibilities here. Generally, you may feel an increase in anxiousness, tiredness & tension before benefitting from relaxation, improved sleep, etc. Some impacts may be immediately felt & some may only be noticeable the day after listening.
rest & restore protocol at-home listening is possible…
RRP is offered as a solo-listening program, but in-office sessions are also possible, depending on your response to the listening.
If you are interested in doing the RRP, you must first schedule an intro session for us to talk through your needs an determine if it is a good fit for you. To get you started, we will schedule at least 1 more live listening session before moving to solo/at-home listening.
Pricing for the RRP varies depending on how we schedule, but the base fee is $600 for 3 months access to the program.
TO BE CLEAR…
THE REST & RESTORE PROTOCOL IS NOT A STAND-ALONE INTERVENTION.
IT IS A COMPLIMENT TO OTHER THERAPIES
