PSYCHOTHERAPY WITH JODI ALIEKSAITES, MA, LPC
Welcome to my website.
I am happy that you found me & I hope my site answers your questions.
I am a Psychotherapist practicing in Boulder Colorado specializing in Body-Centered Contemplative Psychotherapy & Grief Counseling.
I help clients transform emotional and psychological blockages, integrate wounded parts of the themselves & become centered in SELF by addressing issues such as: Anxiety & Stress, Panic Attacks, Grief & Loss, Life Changes, Poor Sleep, Limiting Beliefs & Intrusive Thoughts, Low Self-Worth, Anger, Shame, Poor Boundaries, Feelings of Numbness/Disconnection from Self & Others.
I enjoy working with:
People in transition or who are wanting to initiate a transition/change, letting go of what is keeping them stuck/holding them back.
People who identify with being introverted or highly sensitive become more confident with their in-born gifts.
People who want to alter life course, create more boundaries or slow down, work less, reorganize life values & priorities.
People who want to engage paradigm shifts &/or live unconventionally, out-of-the-box.
Young people & College students who want to direct their life with attention & intention.
Those struggling with pandemic transitions.
Also, I enjoy working with Highly Sensitive people, Empaths, Psychics & those who see & hear things most others don't see/hear.
I work with Individuals 19 & up as well as Groups, all genders, all religions, all sexual orientations.
I'm looking for clients who want to learn how to:
Engage curiosity in pursuit of positive change & healing.
Open up to working with the body & movement as well as the mind & thoughts as a source of wisdom.
Interrupt self-aggression & move into gentleness, self-care & self-attunement.
Experiment with the power of thoughts & words as tools for change & growth.
"A Light in Dark Places" does not imply shining light to dispel the darkness, but rather that the dark places are a source of wisdom, a source of healing & the unconscious, which includes body, mind & spirit.

“I said: what about my eyes?
He said: Keep them on the road.
I said: What about my passion?
He said: Keep it burning.
I said: What about my heart?
He said: Tell me what you hold inside it?
I said: Pain and sorrow.
He said: Stay with it. The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
