WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR WORK TOGETHER

Prior to your first session there is paperwork that can be completed online. The paperwork starts to help me understand your history and what you want to be working on as well as providing you information on privacy policies, cancellation policies, etc.  

​​I do like to meet new clients in person for a full session to really see if we can do some good work together. I want your first session to be as close to a "real" regular session as possible even with going over paperwork, so that you have something to take away right from the start of our work together. 

Therapy is work for both you & me. It's essential that we focus on what you want to work on, what's important to you in your life. There will be assignments to focus on between sessions as well. I tend to err on the side of providing more psycho-education rather than less. It's of value to me to share with you my process particularly when it comes to assignments. I prefer to see clients weekly when possible.
